The Literary Consultancy’s popular and annually sold out Writers’ Day returns on Saturday June 20th, 10am-4pm, at the Free Word Centre.
Writers will hear from industry experts offering up the best in thinking for writing across all environments. A must-attend for the aspiring writer. Writers’ Day will also see the return of the popular TLC Pen Factor Writing Competition. Now in its eighth year, selected finalists of the competition will live-pitch to an expert panel of agents and publishers at the event. Previous winners and finalists include Guinevere Glasfurd (The Words In My Hand, shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award), Neema Shah (Kololo Hill) and Abi Daré (The Girl with the Louding Voice). Entry to the TLC Pen Factor competition is open exclusively to Writers’ Day ticket-holders.
