TLC at the Cambridge Literary Festival

TLC representatives will be leading two workshops at this year’s Cambridge Literary Festival, looking both at the essence of character in fiction, and an overview of the publishing industry in today’s changing climate. Tickets are still available for both by clicking on the links below.

Jacob Ross: Character Essence for Fiction(April 3rd)
TLC ‘genius’ tutor Jacob Ross will look at advanced strategies for developing character by looking at examples, examining context and relationships, and exploring how to create strong, memorable stories, as well as problem-solving tricky character dilemmas.

Debbie Young & Rebecca Swift Masterclass: The Modern Publishing Landscape (April 6th)
TLC Director Rebecca Swift and editor of ALLi’s self-publishing advice blog Debbie Young will be taking a look at the changing literary landscape, examining new publishing models and giving guidance on how best to navigate it as a writer interested in learning how best to survive within new digital environments.
