We are delighted for Alan Wilkinson, a longstanding non-fiction reader for TLC, who has been selected to receive a coveted artist’s residency at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. Alan will be heading to Taos in late January, where he is planning to work on a series of short stories based on the travel journeys he has compiled over more than a dozen research trips to the western States over the past twenty-five years. Alan will be joining ten other artists across several disciplines (visual, musical composition, literary) who will live in ‘casitas’ on the grounds of the ranch formerly owned by the charity’s founder, Helene Wurlitzer.
