Then, you will be invited to upload your work to send to us directly, and you can also pay securely within the portal through our payment platform, Stripe. Quick Turnaround Submissions

TLC can offer manuscript assessments on an expedited basis. Please only proceed with a quick turnaround assessment if have you communicated with the TLC office first.

  • Submission guidelines

    For submission of your manuscript, Word docs and PDFs are acceptable. Please include a synopsis. Please ensure that your manuscript is correctly formatted before uploading. Fiction and non-fiction manuscripts must be in 12-point, double spaced, and page numbered. Poetry can be presented in its original form. Script formatting guidelines can be found on the BBC Writers Room page here

  • Poetry & Short stories

    Poetry can only be submitted as a word document (due to the structure of PDFs the line count is unreliable for fee calculation).

    Short stories must be submitted individually.

    If submitting a complete collection of poetry or short stories please contact TLC to discuss the best fee.
