Online Submission Portal
Welcome to the TLC Online Submission Portal. First, we need a few details. Then, you will be invited to upload your work to send to us directly, and you can also pay securely within the portal through our payment platform, Stripe. All major cards and payment methods are accepted. Simply follow the instructions onscreen to submit your work now. You can use this secure submission portal to submit work for: manuscript assessment (standard and quick turnaround), and developmental editing. Your fee will be automatically calculated for you.
Quick Turnaround Submissions
TLC can offer manuscript assessments on an expedited basis. Please only proceed with a quick turnaround assessment if have you communicated with the TLC office first.
Developmental Editing
Please have your manuscript, synopsis, and a one page covering letter ready to upload. Select ‘Developmental Editing’ from the ‘Manuscript Read Type’ dropdown in the online form. Please note this service is only available for Fiction and Non-fiction prose projects. Your fee will be automatically calculated for you based on word count. WHAT TO SUBMIT
For submission of your materials (manuscript, synopsis and covering letter) Word docs and PDFs are acceptable. Please ensure that your manuscript is correctly formatted before uploading. Fiction and non-fiction manuscripts must be in 12-point, double spaced, and page numbered. Please ensure that your manuscript is submitted as a single file – please do not submit separate files for separate chapters. Poetry can be presented in its original form. POETRY AND SHORT STORIES
Poetry can only be submitted as a Word document (due to the structure of PDFs the line count is unreliable for fee calculation). Short stories must be submitted as individual files. If submitting a complete collection of poetry or short stories please contact TLC first.
