Mentoring Fees

Chapter & Verse is priced to compete extremely favourably with M.A. writing courses, and offer a comparable level of close attention to your writing, from professionals. The addition of the TLC full manuscript read (worth on average £650) is unique to the programme, and the industry day, held at Free Word in the heart of Clerkenwell with a literary agent and editor, is included in the price. The TLC team is also on hand throughout to guide and support you as you complete your book project.

“The course was wonderful, I’ve learned so much – worth three MA’s!”

Chapter & Verse mentee, Libby Kelly

We ask for payment in full in advance of the course, once you have been accepted for a place, either by cheque or via an online bank transfer. Please do not send a cheque in advance of being accepted on the scheme. In exceptional circumstances we may accept payment in two instalments. “The Chapter & Verse scheme was a hugely valuable and enjoyable experience. I was paired with an amazing mentor who guided me in so many ways. My second reader provided me with really insightful feedback that has further helped me to develop the novel. On top of this, the team at TLC have been very supportive and helpful throughout my time with them. Even after completing the scheme, Aki has continued to be really supportive and her insight into the industry is helping me on my journey to find a home for my completed manuscript.”
