What Ghostwriting Taught Me About What Makes a Good Story
In a long and storied career, Ashley Stokes has been a published writer of fictions long and short across several genres; a TLC reader and regional ambassador; a creative writing lecturer and founder of a school; a small press publisher and editor of the critically acclaimed Unthology series, a copy writer and most recently a ghostwriter who undertakes fiction, non-fiction and business-related projects. In short, he knows what makes a good story GREAT.
In this session, Ashley will outline what he learned from each of these phases and stages, what each of them showed to him that has allowed him to build a formidable critical arsenal and in the end devise, shape, plan and write anything for anyone, whether an historical novel or a brand narrative. Come and learn with us how to build ideas into something that feels compelling and utterly readable.
