Join The Literary Consultancy for a series of accessible events for writers interested in how to lead more conscious lives. Each week throughout September – Conscious Writing Month – we will be offering one evening seminar (Tuesday 7-8.30pm BST) and one interactive lunchtime workshop (Thursday 12-1pm BST) to explore the following themes:

Conscious Writing Month is free to Being A Writer members, and available on an affordable pay-what-you-can basis to non members. Tickets get you into all of our live events in this series, as well as watch-back videos which will be available for 30 days after the series ends.

Wellbeing In The Arts provides low-cost mental health and wellbeing support to individuals and organisations across the creative industries by offering access to counselling, coaching, wellbeing support, workshops, mental health first aid training, supervision, and much more. The service is 100% confidential, personalised, flexible, and all of the team have a knowledge and understanding of the unique challenges of working in our industry. Counselling sessions start from £15, are available online or in person, and there are no waiting lists. WITA are here to listen, not judge, and will do everything we can to help. Each of the sessions in Conscious Writing Month will be hosted as Webinars, with automated captions provided by Otter.ai and the option to activate a live transcript. You will not be visible as participants to us or to each other, so that you can access the sessions comfortably. The Chat and Q& functions will be available to you throughout. Tuesday sessions are presented ‘seminar’ style with Q&A built in and last for 90 minutes, whilst Thursday sessions are interactive and include practical exercises, lasting 1 hour each. If there is anything to prepare or bring, we will send you an email in advance of the start date with clear instructions. Any visual imagery will be audio described. One of our sessions (Poetry for the Planet) includes a short video presentation. If you have any specific access requirements, please may we ask you to email us at least 10 working days clear of the first session at .
