Jade Angeles Fitton is a writer and author. Her memoir, Hermit: A memoir of finding freedom in a wild place, was published by Penguin Random House. Her literary criticism, journalism, cultural commentary and personal essays have appeared in the likes of the Times Literary Supplement, Literary Review, The Times, Guardian, Vogue, The New Statesman and The Financial Times, among many others. Her short stories have been published in The London Magazine and Somesuch Stories, among others. Jade’s poetry has been published in the likes of The Moth, The Irish Times and New River Press anthologies. She was shortlisted for the Moth Poetry Prize, 2023. Jade has a Masters in creative nonfiction and feature journalism. She lives in a wonky little cottage in Devon.
