Arts-based practice is often tied into a deep sense of purpose. But without joy, purpose can become burdensome and overwhelming. A recent major study revealed that a shocking two-thirds of creative professionals have reported work-related health issues. AT TLC we are interested in the intersections between wellbeing and creativity, and whilst our work focuses on writers, we are proud to work closely with partners across the arts to think deeply about what our wider sector needs – because the health of the sector depends on the health of those who populate it. And we rely on these people to continue to champion the artists of tomorrow. We value you. And you deserve to feel valued, and supported.
In this poetry inspired webinar, we invite you to reconnect with joyfulness, as a way to bring levity, movement, and energy. This session is free, as our small gift to you.
Please bring: writing materials that work for you (pen and paper is fine or electronic if preferred/easier. Coloured pens etc also welcome if this will bring you joy!)

About Restorative Care Practice
Restorative Care Practice is an original methodology developed by Gaylene Gould for global majority cultural and creative sector workers who need more care in their lives to deal with the stresses of work. This one hour workshop is inspired by Aki’s training with Gaylene as part of her RE-UP! Associates scheme. Tested at RE-UP! and trialled with our freelance editors, this workshop has been adapted for busy workers who need a moment to reconnect with a sense of joy. It is completely free to join.
