TLC Client Maggie Ling, who was short-listed for the Asham Anthology in January for her short story Cold Snap, recently learned that she will be included in the Asham anthology as one of the twelve finalists. The anthology, which is published by Virago, is a collection of short stories under 4,000 words that have been written by unpublished women writers. The three finalists will be announced in September at the Small Wonder Short Story Festival.
In addition, her short story That Day has been long-listed for the Cinnamon Press short story awards and her short story Reflections has made it to the Fish long-list out of the 1,900 pool of entries. The Fish writing competition short-list will be announced the 17th March.
