TLC is delighted to announce the return of our two self editing courses, developed in partnership with expert tutors. Starting in October, these courses are for writers who have a work in progress or completed manuscript and are working on either a novel, or a piece of full length creative non fiction.

About TLC Courses
TLC’s tutored courses have been designed to help you elevate your writing. They focus on what we do best, with three decades of experience in offering professional editorial services to thousands of writers.
Course modules cover a range of topics with exercises to help you apply the techniques learned to your own writing. They incorporate TLC’s Reading Principles (used by our own professional Editors) and TLC’s Ethical Editing principles (used by publishers). Modules have been carefully curated to incorporate a wide range of perspectives including international storytelling frameworks, and consideration of neurodivergence and self-care. Our non fiction course is the only self editing specialist course available specifically for non fiction writers, and we welcome life writers, memoirists, and creative non fiction writers with works in progress and full drafts.

Pricing and Bursaries
TLC’s Self Editing Courses are competitively priced at £450+VAT (Standard), with Concessionary enrolment available at £399+VAT. Being A Writer members are automatically eligible for our Concessionary rate.
There is one 100% bursary available for each course and 1 place available on a 50% bursary basis. All details can be found in the individual event pages below. Places are strictly limited. Early booking is strongly advised.
