As part of the Being A Writer Festival, The Literary Consultancy presents four creative writing Masterclasses with some of our most popular and best loved writers.

In this Masterclass, award-winning novelist Monique Roffey dissects the notion of Voice. Including theory, examples and practical exercises, this Masterclass asks (and answers) the question: what is voice – the thing that agents and publishers most often say they are looking for – in creative writing? And how as writers do we harness the power of voice in order to make our fiction sing?
