Meet the Editor

In Association with National Centre for Writing

1st November 2019, 2-4pm at National Centre for Writing

In this free session, held in association with NCW as part of their Writers’ Toolkit series of events, meet professional editor Ashley Stokes. Ashley will be talking about the role of the editor, how critical feedback can help develop your writing, and will be workshopping specific editing questions to help you get to grips with your book.

Ashley draws on his experience as a writer, editor, creative writing tutor, and publisher, and hosts this session as a TLC Regional Ambassador. He has been working with TLC for 20 years, and has edited over 900 manuscripts over his time with the consultancy.

Participants are encouraged to send in their editing queries in advance of the session, and Ashley will select a small handful to look at in detail during the session.

This session is open to writers of all levels.
